Reporting through to our Sector Manager & Operational Leader you are accountable for the timely coordination and delivery of our works throughout Queensland working with and managing our field teams and our network of subcontractor’s schedules.

About the role
We offer building maintenance solutions across Australia to a variety of some of Australia’s largest commercial clients.
These works vary from:
o Urgent reactive repairs of damage or breakages
o Programmed maintenance
o Minor works building refurbishments
o Major building works
o Disaster recovery (floods, fire etc.).
We employ a team of tradespeople, apprentices, and a large network of subcontractors to service our clients throughout Australia.
These teams require coordination by effective scheduling to meet client requirements and job management coordination to ensure parts and other trades are available on time and we deliver the tasks and/or projects from start to finish.
This permanent full-time role will see you work with and contribute to our professional Service Team, as a self-reliant organised professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills in managing the expectations of both our field teams, and subcontractors and providing clear updates to our clients.
You are also supported by an established Admin Support team as well as an experienced management team who can help guide you and grow you and your skills into your current and future position(s) within the group of businesses.
We offer training with external training partners in a range of courses to further develop and grow your knowledge and experience.
The specific tasks include:
• Building and construction estimating (basic)
• Efficient allocation of resources.
• Ability to prepare accurate costings/quotes for works
• Prioritising critical works by programming and scheduling work requests (reactive and planned maintenance) in line with the priority/response times detailed by our clients.
• Contracting the use of specialist subcontractors, sometimes locating and onboarding new subcontractors.
• Monitoring and maintaining tradesman and subcontractor inductions, insurance, and other compliance-related requirements.
• Coordinating & booking site visits.
• Raising and issuing purchase orders.
• Obtaining quotes and presenting them to our clients.
• Preparing reports on tradespersons findings.
• Reviewing and preparing operational reports.
• Completing job reviews before invoicing
• Proactively updating 3rd party client online portals and helpdesks.
• Prepare reporting to our clients and meet with them regularly
• Reviewing completed tasks to ensure client requirements are met prior to our accounts team invoicing the works.
To be considered for this role you will have:
• Background in a construction trade preferred
• Previous quoting/estimating experience
• Experience with a dynamic and diverse role, or the motivation to join us in ours.
• A sound level of Microsoft Office Suite skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and the ability to react and prioritise our client’s needs.
• The ability to work under pressure and have personal resilience to juggle the competing priorities of the position.
• Be solutions-focused, with a great attitude and personal energy to make things happen.
• Experience in a building maintenance environment.
