Cleared is proud to support a renowned global aerospace, defence, and technology corporation, which is seeking an TSPV Service Desk System Administrator for a contract opportunity in Wollongong NSW.
The Opportunity: As the Service Desk System Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-level ICT support to staff, including the central team based in Canberra. We are seeking candidates with a solid grasp of IT Help Desk operations, exceptional interpersonal skills, and effective communication abilities to troubleshoot issues and provide resolutions.
Operating with minimal supervision, you will contribute to the management and upkeep of the company's ICT infrastructure.
This role will also entail primary support for the Defence technology systems, offering an exciting and challenging opportunity.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build strong customer and teammate relationships.
- Candidate must already have a TSPV security clearance.
- Progressively responsible experience in IT/Security project management
Key Knowledge and Experience Areas Include:
- Management of Defence Assets including laptops and desktop computers
- DSN & DPN Defence system experience
- WAN connections linking offices in ACT and NSW
- Utilisation of Windows Servers (2016 and above) and Exchange 2016 messaging
- Upcoming upgrades to Windows 11 and migration to Exchange Online
- Standard Operating Environment (SOE) features including Microsoft Office 365 suite, OneDrive, Adobe Acrobat DC, and Cisco Jabber
- Use of Dynamics 365 for the Digital Lodgement System and CISCO platforms for IP-phones and videoconferencing
- Incident Management
- Service Catalog Management
- Problem Management
Duties Include:
- Logging and prioritising support tickets
- Investigating and resolving technical issues
- Supporting courtroom technology systems
- Assisting with setup activities and maintenance of ICT assets
- Providing ICT training and documentation
- Liaising with external ICT contractors and suppliers
- Contributing to various ICT team activities
Clearance Requirements: Applicants must hold a TSPV AGSVA Clearance and be Australian Citizens.
