The Company

The Position
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Respond to inbound customer enquiries promptly, complying with agreed service levels
- Process customer orders received by fax, phone, and email in a timely and efficient manner
- Propose solutions and offer technical support to customers, escalating complex queries as needed
- Communicate special order instructions to warehouse to ensure delivery timelines are met
- Handle credits, returns, and pricing adjustments for customers in line with company policies
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve customer-related requests
- Manage backorders and claims, ensuring accurate data handling and resolution
- Identify and recommend process enhancements to improve overall customer service
The Candidate
The successful applicant will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, as well as be experienced in product order management within the manufacturing and distribution industry. The candidate must display the following:
- Working knowledge of the order-to-delivery process in a product-based industry
- Proven ability to quickly adapt to new systems and workflows
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and technical proficiency
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure
