Health & Safety Manager - National Distribution & Logistics
Location: Mount Warren Park, QLD
Salary: up to $110k - $130k + Super (depending on experience)

About the Role
As the Health & Safety Manager , you will manage workplace safety across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with national regulations and best practices. You will be responsible for developing policies, conducting risk assessments, implementing training programs, and leading health & safety initiatives across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain company health & safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant workplace health and safety regulations
- Oversee safety induction and onboarding programs
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies
- Develop and coordinate training programs and competency assessments
- Manage licenses, certifications, and renewals
- Provide specialist advice and coaching to supervisors and managers
- Administer safety systems, maintain data integrity, and generate reports
- Lead injury management, return-to-work processes, and workers' compensation across multiple states
- Monitor and report on safety performance to senior management
- Collaborate closely with HR, logistics, and operational teams
What We're Looking For
- Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a related discipline
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a national company
- Strong hands-on experience in site safety, particularly in distribution or logistics
- Knowledge of workplace health & safety legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience managing workers' compensation and injury management across multiple states
- Internal auditing, incident investigation, and risk assessment experience (ICAM desirable)
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel and system administration skills
