The Senior Business Coordinator will provide high-level business support services and advice to leadership across the IWFM Program. This includes advice and support on, human resource management, business processes and administration, corporate reporting, organisational improvement, procurement and contract management and workplace health and safety.
Reporting/work relationships
The position reports to the Program Business Manager, IWFM Program.
The number of direct reports is four.
Mandatory qualifications, registrations and other requirements
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
- Should you be required to travel, all IWFM staff travel entitlements are documented in an Employee Assignment Guidelines which governs all accommodation, transportation and living expenses which may be applicable. This document has been developed in accordance with the relevant Department of Health policies; and industrial provisions and/or taxation rulings.
- Please note the role on offer may be temporarily located in a Hospital and Health Service. This is a position within the Department of Health and the Public Hospitals Fringe Benefits Tax exemption cap does not apply.
Role fit
The essential requirements for this role are:
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience with business and administrative processes related human resource management, travel, workplace health and safety, procurement and contract management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and provide expert analysis of human resource management reports to assist decision making, including using enterprise systems and software applications.
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills, and the ability to prepare very good quality written business communications.
- Demonstrated ability to be responsive and well organised and to manage time and competing priorities effectively.
