About the role:
As the Ranger, you will support the Dja Dja Wurrung Recognition and Settlement Agreement and implantation of the Joint Management Plan for the Dja Dja Wurrung Parks. The role is offered as full time, but Parks Victoria is open to flexible working arrangements to suit the right person, such as part-time. You will be offered learning and development to support park management activities such as 4WD training, leadership skill building and cultural heritage qualifications. A full uniform and mobile phone will be provided to conduct work functions. The role includes working on some weekends and public holidays

About the Team:
The Parks Victoria, Dja Dja Wurrung Ranger Team deliver a range of field based and office-based park management duties including cultural initiatives and cultural strengthening projects, supporting, participating in Joint Management projects with DJAARA and other Parks Victoria rangers, undertaking cultural heritage assessments, and delivering park management such as weed control, land restoration & revegetation, asset maintenanace and interacting with park visitors.
We're looking for someone with:
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with partners and stakeholders
- Computer and organisational skills
- Experience in self-management and supervisory skills
- Experience in customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
