Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime and prevent equipment malfunctions.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
Repair and replace faulty components as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Innovate and implement improved engineering practices, maintaining ISO 9002, HACCP, and GMP standards.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks and report recurring issues to management.
What We’re Looking For
Trade or engineering qualifications.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter or in a similar role.
Competence in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Strong preventative maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with food manufacturing equipment is a bonus.
