We are looking for a part time Commis Chef to join our passionate Dock 37 team.
The Successful Commis Chef Will
- Be responsible for the preparation and production of ingredients and menu items to the required standard
- Ensure a high level of attention and care to special requests and food allergies
- Follow food hygiene regulations at all times
- Follow hotel policies and procedures at all times
Ideally You Will Have
- Relevant qualifications/certificates in Cookery (Certificate III or equivalent), HACCP and local Food Safety Handling & Hygiene
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef in a four or five star hotel or a similar fast-paced, kitchen environment
- Ability to work productively and safely at all times with a focus on quality control
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
- The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standards
