We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Asset Planning Team. This role will work across the organisation to inform investment decisions, capital works programs and maintenance programs using GIS and asset data. The role will help to ensure the sustainable custodianship of Council assets and infrastructure to agreed service levels at the lowest cost to the community.
Key responsibilities of the position include:

Complex spatial and asset data analytics
-
Influences the creation of data-based capital work plans and maintenance programs

The creation and/or deployment of GIS applications to capture and monitor assets
-
Lead the production of Asset Management Plans
-
Stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation
-
Provision of expert advice on asset system database structures
The successful applicant will have:
-
Tertiary qualifications in Geographical Information Systems
-
Experience working in Local Government, preferably in an Asset Management field
-
Knowledge of asset management principles, systems and practices

This is a Level 7 position which has a current salary range of $124,098 - $131,904 (plus Super).
