Description:
We are seeking someone who has experience using hand & power tools within a manufacturing environment.Your role will be to assist the Tool Setter Lead to achieve tool changes and running, fault finding, servicing and repairs of the dies on site.
The main duties in this role are as follows:
- Assiti in installing expandable polystyrene tools into the EPS machines and get the machine up and running.
- Maintain and repair all aspects of the tooling including guns and seals, keeps tool setters work areas clean and tidy.
- Fault find on the machines when required.
- Liaise with the Tool Setter Lead, Operations Manager, Factory Manager and maintenance persons, source spares / equipment for tool change and locks out.
- Assist preventative maintenance / hydro blasting to optimize the tooling.
- To provide an efficient tool change, set up, running and fault find on the EPS moulding machines.
- To reduce downtime of the equipment whilst optimizing performance.
