Like technology, Ipau is all about change and we are looking to add to our company structure some new IT Support Technicians who show an aptitude towards troubleshooting and self-development.

Role Overview

Due to ongoing growth within the Education, Defence and SMB/SME markets, Ipau are now seeking to expand their team of IT Support Technicians with motivated, hard-working and forward-thinking IT professionals and graduates. As an IT Support Technician you will provide on site and remote IT support for our clients and support their server and network infrastructure, as well as provide level 1, 2 and occasionally level 3 support.

To be successful in this role you will enjoy solving problems, delivering exceptional customer service and have a passion for technology. In addition, you will also have exceptional time management, presentation and communication skills and be able to translate and convey technical information to non-technical clients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide an excellent level of customer service to clients through appropriate support response and friendly communication, in keeping with SLA agreements.

Ongoing support and system administration of client’s servers, networks and general IT infrastructure and hardware.

Act as the first point of contact for clients to troubleshoot and problem solve Level 1 and 2 technical faults.

Promote and represent the full range of Ipau products and solutions along with being a strong brand ambassador.

Identify and diagnose issues logically either in person on site, by telephone, email or remote login.

Escalate incidents where resolution has not been possible after extensive troubleshooting and liaise with customers throughout the time of the issue to ensure a satisfactory resolution is reached.

Expected Skills and Qualifications

Experience with Windows Server and Client Operating Systems and Active Directory is essential

Understanding of networking fundamentals is essential

Experience working in a similar IT role supporting clients and delivering onsite solutions would be highly regarded

Higher education qualifications at Certificate or Diploma level would be looked upon favourably

Skills in level 1 and 2 diagnosis for networking, printers, mobile, server and computer related hardware and software

Familiar in the use of remote access software

The ability and willingness to work both independently as well as in a team environment

Exceptional communication and problem solving skills as well as a customer-focused mindset will be essential

Drivers Licence and reliable transport will be essential

A current Working With Children (WWC) clearance is strongly desired and can be organised for any successful applicants
