Physiotherapist - Community Physio

My Community Physio
Adelaide Full-day Full-time

Description:

My Community Physio was established in 2023 with the desire to help improve access to Physiotherapy across Adelaide. Our overarching goal is to provide person-centred and collaborative physiotherapy to the community.

Our business has grown incredibly fast with a team of mobile physiotherapists due to the positive relationships that we are creating with our community. We work with a diverse client group, from older populations to NDIS clients and anyone that requires physiotherapy services in the community.

We service all over the Adelaide metropolitan region but we are specifically seeking a physiotherapist to work in the Southern Adelaide region at this stage. This may increase into other areas as our demand increases.

This is a part time position, offering 20 hours to start with, with increasing hours as your schedule increases.

Your responsibilities:

  • High levels of autonomy and an ability to undertake home and mobility assessments.
  • Deliver physiotherapy services (including exercise sessions, manual therapy techniques for pain management and improved function).
  • Provide Exercise Programs and Education for self management strategies.
  • Working collaboratively with our clients to set clear, functional goals and deliver individual therapy sessions to support those goals.
  • Providing and maintaining our standard for delivering high levels of professionalism and quality care.

Our Business Model and what we offer:

We offer a range of benefits for working as part of our team. We offer flexible working conditions, flexible working hours and days from Monday to Friday. There is no expectations for you to work outside our 9am to 5pm business hours, unless you would like to.

This role is perfect for those who are looking for a better work/life balance, prefer being on the road and have a passion for helping people.

We offer above-award rate based on level of experience, no commission structure so you don’t need to be concerned about how many clients you’re seeing. There is no pressure from management to overload your schedule as we have a strong interest in preventing burn out, work sustainably and focus on patient outcomes.

About you:

We would love to hear from you if you believe you…

  • Are a passionate, professional and caring Physiotherapist.
  • Have a strong interest in community based physiotherapy.
  • Love working autonomously and providing individualized care to clients at their homes.
  • Have a strong interesting in building long-lasting connections to your clients, colleagues and the wider community.
  • Feel your skills, personality and experience align with our business values.

All physios will need to have completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy or Masters of Physiotherapy degree, have Full Registration with AHPRA, A Valid Australian licence and a reliable, registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

We encourage all levels of experience physiotherapists apply or express interest as we are more interested in who you are as a person and if you will be a right fit for our team, rather than focusing on your level of experience.
