As an interprofessional practice, they work alongside professionals from various fields, including Psychology and Exercise Physiology, to provide holistic care to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Occupational Therapy (OT) supports focused on daily living skills and independence.
- Conduct workplace and home assessments to recommend modifications and interventions.
- Develop and implement therapy plans to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation in line with NDIS, WorkCover, and Medicare requirements.
- Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Travel to client homes and workplaces to conduct assessments and provide therapy as needed.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with NDIS participants, WorkCover, and/or Medicare clients (preferred but not essential).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to client locations.
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain).
