Assistant Manager | Trades & Hardware | Swan Hill
As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional service and delivering the very specific products your customers need to manage their projects! You will be a sales-focused, results-driven and hands-on as a leader, able to use your leadership skills in mentoring and coaching on your team to ensure their growth and success...!
In this role, you will support the Manager with administrative tasks and reporting, and you will be confident driving team morale and ensuring your business standards and team performance meet both the client demands and company expectations. Alongside the Manager you will ensure the team are highly confident and knowledgeable about the products and services available, and focused on smooth day to day operations....
What we are looking for...:
- Ability to manage and coach a high-performing team of up to 15 staff....
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers and internal /external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capable to oversee stock inventory, reporting, rostering and general forecasting
- Confidence to drive the entire operation when required
- A Car Licence is essential, Forklist Licence preferred
- A strong commitment to site safety and OH&S
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a positive "can-do" attitude.
