The Opportunity:
The Government Relations Manager will support the VHBA's Strategic Communications and Engagement team in providing high quality advice on the program delivery. The role will be responsible for building and maintaining effective working relationships with government stakeholders, communities and MPs to identify and resolve complex issues and proactively amplifying the projects we're delivering.
Key aspects of the role include:
* Providing expert advice on government relations in a leadership position
* Developing and maintaining government relations strategies
* Identifying and responding to project-related stakeholder issues and ensuring the appropriate responses and strategies are followed.
We are looking for:
* A requirement to have qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Media, Public Policy or related discipline
* A requirement to have extensive experience and skills across communications and government relations ideally in a construction environment.
* Demonstrated experience in developing government relation strategies
