The Role:
Helping a woman in Mill Park with in home support and transport weekly.
The roles can vary, but mainly the key responsibilities will include:
· Assisting the client with meal planning, preparation, and cooking as required.
· Domestic tasks (cleaning, laundry, gardening etc).
· Provide transportation for the client to and from their destinations.
· Acknowledge and respond to the needs of Aboriginal and culturally and linguistically different people, and assist them in integrating into the service.
· Accept and respect your customers' right to their own views, values and preferences, (religion, sexuality etc.).
· By building relationships based on trust with clients and their families and/or advocates.
· Relate to clients in a way that puts them first.
· Facilitate and encourage activities.
· Encourage and enable the participation of customers in the decision-making process for support and activities.
· Be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
You must have:
· NDIS Workers Screening, or willingness to obtain one.
· You must be fully vaccinated to comply with the Victorian government's mandate.
· Police Check (Current)
· CPR and First Aid Certificate (Current)
· Have a safe and reliable vehicle, and also a valid Victorian driver's license.
· Working rights in Australia
· Capacity to meet the physical demands of the job
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $36.20 – $79.64 per hour
