Key Details About the Role:
- Position: Special Needs Teacher
- Students: Ages 7- 16 years old
- Start Date: (as soon as you're ready)
- Type: Full-time, ongoing opportunity
- Flexibility with age levels is dependent on your experiences, and if you are Primary or secondary trained
What You'll Do:
- Design and deliver programs tailored to individual student needs, ensuring engagement and personalisation
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to align lessons with individual learning and pathway plans
- Support students with diverse learning needs and intellectual disabilities daily
- Continuously assess and adjust student learning plans for optimal progress
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and the community to guide student success
- Engage with a small class of 9 students, supported by teachers, OTs, Speech Pathologists, and other professionals
