Due to our growth in the market, we are recruiting for an experienced Operations Supervisor to work in the busy Operations Department based in Arndell Park, NSW .
This permanent full-time position is a significant and anticipated part of the team and operates as a key link between Sweeper Operators, Branch Admin, Workshop, branch leadership and last but not least, our Customers. The role reports to the State Manager and is essential to the delivery of daily outcomes.
Previous sweeper and pressure cleaning experience is not necessary however we will train you! A key outcome for the successful applicant will be a demonstrated competence with our equipment, daily maintenance, presentation, procedure and a ‘hands on’ approach managing a small team to deliver accountability and team success.

What are the main responsibilities of this role?
- Lead a small team of operators to deliver productive, efficient, quality and customer service outcomes
- Play a leading role in driving non-negotiable standards and to lead by example
- Assist with fleet and mechanical issues
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with new and existing customers
- Ensure all key administrative functions are carried out, including pre-starts, maintenance requests, job dockets, dumping dockets, quotes, etc
- Operate our equipment on a need’s basis
- On-board new Operators ensuring training is completed to the highest standard
- Monitor and demonstrate Work Health & Safety practices
- Monitor and drive employee performance / accountability
What do I need to be successful in this role?
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a Supervisor role in an operational environment (minimum 2 years) preferably in the industrial services sector
- Be ‘hands on’ with a demonstrated mechanical aptitude and / or mechanical qualification
- Have a MR licence (minimum)
- Demonstrated ability and ‘can-do’ attitude to develop business opportunities and strong client relationships
- Have sound computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
- Possess a strong work ethic and customer focus with ability to guide your team to required standards and measurements
- Enjoy working in a team environment and autonomously
- Strong safety leadership
- Possess excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Bring excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Operate with a solution-based approach, a sense of flexibility and resilience
- A continuous improvement mind set
- Have a good level of fitness
- Pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol test
