Your new role
- Be administratively self-sufficient by handling tasks like preparing invoices, scheduling and minuting meetings, time recording, document control, QA documentation, and filing project documents.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and timely.
- Prepare, write, and collate tender documents.
- Manage the tender process, including handling queries, clarifications, assessments, and recommendation letters.
- Coordinate with client lawyers to finalise principal contracts. Prepare, update, and manage project target programs.
- Scope works, write PSAs for consultants, and coordinate contractor inputs.
- Manage project costs, including variations, fee proposals, and evaluating consultant and contractor claims.
- Assist in managing design and coordinating detailed design consultants, ensuring drawings meet quality standards and client objectives.
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, authorities, and contractors to negotiate successful outcomes.
- Work through project-specific consent conditions to obtain approvals.
- Track and report on project progress, including PCG reporting if required.
- Write reports, letters, recommendations, and prepare estimates or other advice for clients.
- Be a team player and assist in design tasks to keep projects moving forward.
- Comply with QA system standards including risk management through HSiD including meeting management
What you'll need to succeed
- A minimum of TWO years' local experience in Project Management is essential, and civil design experience is exceptionally advantageous.
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in civil design and inspections, specifically in urban land development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in report writing
- Skilled in stakeholder management
- Familiarity with Australian Standards and Council design standards
- Some experience in procurement and project planning.
- Knowledge of contracts and contract management or superintendence
- Strong time management skills with a track record of meeting tight deadlines
- Proactive and efficient learner
