About the Position:

Care Dentistry - Implant Specialist Centre is a cutting-edge, high-energy dental practice with eight chairs, specialising in cosmetic dentistry. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, we are dedicated to providing the best care for our patients. At this time, we are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant / Surgical Nurse to join our team and work alongside Dr. Chris Ho.

We offer a full-time position in a supportive, dynamic, and collaborative team environment. The role includes Wednesdays off and requires availability for two Saturdays per month.

You will be required to assist:

  • Bone graft
  • Implant placement
  • Periodontist
  • Know periodontal charting

We provided ongoing training and development to support your career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.

Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organized treatment area.

Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels, ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organised.

Patient Education: Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and educate them about oral hygiene and preventive care.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.

Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.

What do you need to succeed:

  • Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is essential
  • A Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Capability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
  • Attention to detail
