The Venue:
Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach is a premium 4.5-star resort style hotel overlooking the beautiful, white sandy beaches of Brighton-Le-Sands and Sydney's picturesque Botany Bay. The hotel is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment and on track to be one of the best event venues in NSW.
About the Role
As the Night Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations during the night. You will ensure guest satisfaction, manage the night staff, and handle any guest inquiries or concerns that may arise during the night.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and supporting the night staff, including front desk agents, security personnel, and overnight housekeeping.
- Managing the hotel's night audit process and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.
- Addressing and resolving guest issues, emergencies, or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Conducting regular inspections of the premises to guarantee security and safety standards are met.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless transition between shifts and maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Overseeing the implementation of hotel policies and procedures during night hours.
About You:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a night management or similar position.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and basic accounting principles.
- Availability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- First Aid and RSA certificates
