As they continue to enhance their cloud infrastructure and DevOps capabilities, they are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to support their Azure environment and drive automation, security, and operational excellence.About the RoleAs a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the design, automation, and management of cloud infrastructure within a hybrid Azure environment. You will collaborate with multiple product squads to develop CI/CD pipelines, automate platform provisioning, and optimize security & compliance.This role requires on-site presence in Sydney for 3 days per week, allowing for strong collaboration with cross-functional teams while maintaining flexibility with remote work.Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Infrastructure & Automation: Implement and manage Azure cloud environments, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep and PowerShell.CI/CD & Release Management: Design, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.Operational Efficiency: Automate workflows, optimize cloud resources, and enhance system monitoring for performance and reliability.Security & Compliance: Implement DevSecOps best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and cybersecurity policies.Collaboration & Problem-Solving: Work closely with development and operations teams to support deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.Skills & Experience2+ years of experience in an Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer roleStrong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, PowerShell, and DSCProficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automation using Azure DevOpsExperience with system integrations, APIs, and operational workflowsKnowledge of cloud security, vulnerability management, and compliance standardsIndustry experience in insurance or financial services (preferred but not essential)Why Join?Opportunity to work with a leading insurance provider investing in digital transformationExposure to cutting-edge Azure DevOps & cloud technologiesHybrid work model: 3 days in-office (Sydney CBD), 2 days remoteCompetitive daily rate contract with potential for extension
