Mars Wrigley (MW) are looking for a qualified Electrician to join the Supply Team based in Asquith.
Home to many well-known brands such as Skittles, Extra & Eclipse , we are proud to make some of Australia’s most loved confectionery brands.
This night shift role will see you working closely with operators, fitters, and mechanics, you will be responsible for the entire site's electrical needs which will Include installations, breakdown / planned maintenance, minor programming tasks and fault finding to name a few!
What would be your key responsibilities?
- Electrical Installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems to AS/NZ standard.
- Perform breakdown maintenance to machinery, plant, and equipment and ensuring work is completed in a manner to always promote the highest possible uptime.
- Identify root causes and carry out continuous improvements to site safety, product quality and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and support factory start up and shutdowns.
- Ensuring all lines are fully operational and any potential fault is immediately addressed with a sense of urgency.
What are we looking for?
- Understands the importance of working with a sense of urgency and remaining calm under high pressure situations.
- Ability to work well within a team and build relationships as you will be working across the whole MW site
- Electrical license is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.
- Identify root causes and carry out continuous improvements to site safety, product quality and operational efficiency.
- Experience in programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB Robots) would be advantageous.
- Previous electrical experience within a manufacturing environment (FMCG, food production or similar) would be beneficial.
