We are located 11 kilometres north-west of Cobar, central western New South Wales. At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia’s deepest underground mines.
Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, CSA Mine directly employs over 500 people including contractors.

About the Role:
As a Cablebolter Operator, you will be responsible for installing ground support using Sandvik & Atlas Copco cablebolting rigs in an underground mining environment. You will work closely with the development and ground support teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating cablebolting rigs in accordance with site requirements
- Installing cable bolts to support underground excavations
- Conducting pre-start checks and maintaining equipment
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Working effectively in a team to achieve production targets
About You:
- Experience operating underground cablebolting rigs (Sandvik / Atlas Copco preferred)
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to work in an underground mining environment
- Previous experience in a similar role within the mining industry
Conditions:
This is a 7/7 roster, and commute options include residential, DIDO or FIFO from Brisbane or Sydney.
Candidates interested in DIDO or FIFO will be provided with commute single accommodation and meals at the mine camp. CSA also provides Pool & Gym Reimbursements to our employees and their dependants.

Located an eight-hour drive to Sydney, nine-hour drive to Melbourne, and a quick three-hour drive to Dubbo, Cobar is a fascinating town rich in mining heritage and natural attractions.
