Description:

This position is a key part of our St Vincent's Hospital - Day Surgery Unit. Reporting directly to the Unit Manager, the Wardsperson assists in the provision of high quality and at times labour intensive support services to our clinical departments’ campus wide. The successful candidate will have the following skills or experience:

  • Proven time management and organisational skills within a multi-disciplinary team environment;
  • Experience working within a service environment and delivering a professional, empathetic and personalised approach to clients;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate effectively with a diverse range of patients, residents and caregivers;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the principles governing WH&S, Infection Control, Quality Improvement, Waste Management.

We have a permanent part time or Full Time, Monday – Friday, opportunity available, based at our St Vincent's Hospital Lismore Campus.
