The Role

We are seeking casual customer service (Bingo) workers to take roles running / calling our Bingo sessions in various locations throughout Greater Sydney, predominately in Western Sydney locations.

We have various shifts available. Shifts are generally 4 hours long, and there are various shifts to cover during the week. During the day these fit in well with school hours and nights usually finish no later than 10pm – offering a perfect work / life balance.

Duties will include:

  • Building great rapport with our lovely patrons and club staff
  • Set up of equipment and sales
  • Calculation of prize money and reconciliation of takings
  • Recording of session information

And for those who aren’t shy….

  • Microphone work – calling bingo games at the sessions (a desirable skill, but not essential)

Full training for all aspects of these roles is provided, along with ongoing support from our hands-on management team.

Remuneration

  • Attractive hourly rate (above award) + Allowances
  • Not for Profit Salary Packaging options to increase your take home pay.

Essential Criteria

  • Drivers license and insured vehicle
  • Friendly disposition and great customer service skills
  • Well presented
  • Microphone experience
  • Laptop and Mobile phone
  • Ability to lift 15Kg

Desirable Criteria

  • Ability to work a flexible roster (including nights and weekends)
  • Some knowledge of bingo or housie

A little about Learning Links

Learning Links is a charity that has been helping families and children with learning difficulties for 50 years. Our Bingo sessions run within our Registered Clubs Partners in QLD (and NSW), support the charitable work of our organisation to provide services to children and their families.

Child safety is top priority for us, and we are a child safe organisation. You will be asked to undergo a Police check.
