We are looking for someone who is adaptable and has enough passion to be responsible for the efficient management and operation of bus services from the depot, ensuring compliance with both internal and contractual performance standards. Reporting directly to the Area Manager, the responsibilities of this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Being the main point of contact for drivers for all non-dispatch issues including managing the payroll time sheet process for operations, cleaners and workshops, oversee and action driver shift surveys, and enacting depot wide education campaigns.
- Assuming responsibility for depot administration tasks including managing the leave register, building driver rosters, processing charter bookings, ensuring licence compliance.
- Investigating reports including lost property reports, customer complaints, Busways Occurrence Reports, and reviewing CCTV footage as necessary.
- Ensure operational consistency with our national operating frameworks.
- Assuming responsibility for the achievement of contractual and internal KPIs.
- Coaching team members and developing their performance, offering feedback and demonstrating the desired skills and expected work ethic within your team

What We’re Looking for in the Successful Candidate :- Certificate IV Leadership & Management.
- Certificate in Transport Management (CTM) extensive relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated successful leadership of unionised workforces within the transport industry, preferably with experience in passenger bus services.
- Demonstrated Operations knowledge including service delivery, rostering, incident management, performance management, employee relations, complaint handling, work, health and safety, inclusion and diversity.
- Leadership capability, experience and demonstrated capacity to coach others.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, the capacity to successfully deliver high quality outcomes and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker and proactive problem solver.Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have working rights in Australia.
- Current Australian drivers licence issued by the relevant State.
