The role
Adbri currently has an opportunity for a Quarry Worker to join the team at our Penrose Quarry in New South Wales. Our Quarry Workers operate a variety of mobile and fixed plant, as well as fixed and mobile crushing /screening and washing plants.
We are currently seeking applications from candidates with experience operating fixed plant. However, we are also willing to train the right applicant who is eager to learn and develop their skills.
This is a great opportunity to secure full-time employment in an entry-level role with long-term career prospects. We can offer on-the-job training for the right candidate and the opportunity to build a long-term career in the quarrying industry
This role is available on a full-time permanent basis working on our day shift starting at 5:30am, Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays as and when required.

Responsibilities
- Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained.
- Operate fixed and mobile plant.
- Undertake housekeeping and basic maintenance, including assisting where required with Maintenance
- Occasional manual handling and general labouring
What you will need to succeed
- Understanding of fixed crushing and screening operations
- Current drivers’ licence
- Experience operating mobile and fixed plant (preferred but not essential)
- Strong mechanical aptitude (highly regarded)
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Work in a team environment.
