Your key accountabilities
The core capability requirements for this role are:
• Conduct Analysis of business requirements and evolve those requirements for technical design and implementation of solution components.
• Apply governance processes to ensure the quality assurance of technical products delivered by suppliers.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications incorporating analysis of maintainability, scalability, security, supportability, usability and other non-functional requirements.
• Define key test scenarios and carry out verification testing to ensure the solution is complete and meets agreed business requirements.
• Provide support to builders and testers to ensure the required solution outcomes are achieved, including assistance with documentation and testing of defect fixes and changes.
• Provide advice on database, desktop, infrastructure (server and operating system), infrastructure (virtualisation and storage), mobility, software and
telecommunication solutions, products and services to internal and external stakeholders.
Role Requirements
Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience
Highly desirable
• Experience with the SDLC
• Experience in one or more of the following technical specialities:
• Database
• Desktop
• Infrastructure (server and operating system)
• Infrastructure (virtualisation and storage)
• Mobility
• Software
• Telecommunications
Desirable
• Use of fit-for-purpose tools to record and manage requirements for the documentation and management of quality assurance.
• System analysis activities on complex Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products
• Knowledge of Agile delivery
• Awareness of ITIL framework or similar process methodologies
• Awareness of PRINCE2 and similar project management methodologies
• A degree level qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science

This position may be required to:
• Perform some duties after-hours on a scheduled basis
• Perform on-call support outside of regular business hours
