We are mobile hygiene specialists hiring and servicing portable showers, toilets and waste holding tanks of all sorts. Think of us as Kenny-on-steroids! (Sorry, if you haven’t seen the movie, you won’t get that!)
About this Role:
We run a fleet of 14 trucks, with 3 more nearing completion. We favour Isuzu for their reliability, quality and uniformity across the fleet, so Isuzu experience while not essential, would be an obvious advantage.
Our vehicle fleet is constantly growing and evolving with new technology, and so we are looking for a skilled automotive technician who can keep our custom-built fleet running smoothly.
As one of our automotive maintenance team you may find yourself exposed to mechanical, welding, sheet metal, fabrication, auto electrical, air-conditioning and hydraulic work, as well as the routine maintenance of a very modern fleet. You won’t be bored, and you will be part of the backbone of our operation.

We're constantly pushing the boundaries by designing and building new trucks with improved designs that boost efficiency for our mobile hygiene technicians and streamline the maintenance of the trucks and their equipment as well. Problem-Solving Extraordinaire: No two days are the same! You'll tackle unique challenges that keep our operations flowing. You’ll have access to the right scan tools, and a full range of the equipment you’ll need to work quickly and well.
You’ll have control of our spares and consumables. You’ll have input to our workshop inventory so that you’ll always have what the job needs.
You’ll also oversee the service record keeping of our fleet, and have input to improvements in that fleet.

Qualifications and Experience:
Some or all of the following will be valued:
Trade Ticket: Hold a valid qualification as a Vehicle Mechanic, Fitter & Turner, or Mechanical Tradesperson.
Welding Proficiency: Demonstrated skill in welding techniques for repairs and fabrication is essential.
Machining and Fabrication Expertise: We're seeking someone with solid machining and fabrication skills who can create and modify parts to meet specific needs and improve our systems.
Hydraulic Know-How: Understanding hydraulic systems is a must.
Auto Electrical Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with auto electrical systems and troubleshooting is a plus.
Forklift Ticket (Preferred): Not essential, but a valuable bonus.
