Now, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager QLD

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development manager to expand our presence in the Queensland. The ideal candidate thrives on engaging with potential clients, enjoys the thrill of pursuing new business opportunities, and is passionate about growing our market share of the region. This role involves being proactive in the field. Meeting new customers and driving the growth of our Queensland market.

  • Results driven hunter who thrives on generating new leads, identifying opportunities, and closing deals.
  • Actively pursue and wins new business while creating lasting partnerships that grow revenue and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation and Pipeline Development

• Identify and target new business opportunities, including trade, retail, and pool shops.

• Develop strategies to generate high-quality leads through networking, partnerships, and marketing efforts.

Relationship Building

• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including pool shop owners, trade professionals, and retail partners.

• Build long-term partnerships to create consistent referral streams.

Sales Performance and Conversion

• Drive sales performance by improving lead-to-customer conversion rates.

• Provide tailored solutions for customers, highlighting the benefits of efficient pool heating systems.

Market Analysis

• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities in Queensland.

• Provide feedback to the national sales team for strategy adjustments.

Reporting and Accountability

• Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activities, and conversions using a CRM system.

• Report on progress during weekly meetings.

Customer Education

• Educate customers and partners about the benefits of Supreme Heating products to build trust and confidence.

• Assist in hosting training sessions, trade shows, or events to showcase the product range.

Skills and Attributes Required

Sales and Business Development

• Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in a similar industry (solar, heating, or pool equipment).

• Experience working with trade, retail, and service channels.

Strong Communication and Negotiation Skills

• Ability to confidently pitch products, handle objections, and close deals.

• Skilled at building rapport with diverse stakeholders.

Self-Motivation and Initiative

• A proactive individual who can work independently while meeting sales targets.

• Demonstrates a results-driven mindset with a focus on growth.

Technical Knowledge

• Familiarity with solar and heating technologies or a willingness to learn quickly.

• Ability to explain technical features in simple terms to customers.

Organizational and Time Management Skills

• Ability to manage multiple leads, relationships, and priorities simultaneously.

• Comfortable working within structured reporting and accountability frameworks.
