Description:
We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Content and Social Media Specialist to join our Flight Centre Travel Group leisure marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling content and product merchandising copy that aligns with our brand marketing strategy. You will develop and execute engaging social media campaigns, support the broader brand marketing plan, and contribute to initiatives that enhance brand awareness, attract new customers, drive retention, and fuel business growth.
Strong writing skills, social media expertise, and a passion for brand storytelling are essential in this role. You will create and manage content across various platforms, collaborate with teams to align messaging, and analyse performance data to refine and improve engagement strategies.
Day to day you’ll:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and wider team to execute content and social media plans that align with the brand marketing strategy and business goals
- Write short- and long-form content, as well as product merchandising copy, to support marketing campaigns while maintaining brand voice and consistency
- Develop compelling copy for various platforms—including email, website, and app—to strengthen brand presence, enhance storytelling, and drive customer engagement across multiple channels
- Create and execute social media content, including gamification, engaging posts, and short-form video, to differentiate the brand from competitors
- Track and analyze content performance to measure audience growth and engagement across platforms
- Provide detailed social media reporting with insights that inform strategy and content improvements
We’d love to h ear from you if you have:
- 3+ years' experience in Marketing
- Demonstrated ability to write high-quality copy with knowledge of editorial and SEO best practices
- An understanding of social media best practice, including platform specific content
- Exemplary attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines at any one time
- Positive attitude, and willing to learn
