In this role, your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Define and oversee the IT asset lifecycle, from procurement and onboarding to renewal and disposal, in partnership with finance and procurement teams.
- Enhance audit and stocktake processes, ensuring accurate IT asset records and minimising discrepancies.
- Drive governance, automation, and continuous improvement in configuration and asset management, as well as change and release management activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to optimise and embed IT service management standards and best practices across the organisation.
A bit about you:
- Proven experience in IT Asset and Configuration Management across on-premise and cloud environments, with practical knowledge of ITILv4 Service Asset and Configuration Management practices.
- Hands-on experience working with IT Asset Management Systems (e.g. ServiceNow SAM Pro, HAM Pro) and Configuration Management Databases (CMDB).
- Strong understanding of IT service operations, governance-driven IT procedures, and change management to ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to analyse trends, identify risks, and drive automation and process improvements in configuration and asset management.
- Demonstrated ability to consult, negotiate, and influence internal teams and external suppliers while translating technical concepts into clear business language.
