The FIFO 8:6 Roster
Great opportunity to secure a role on an 8:6 roster where you'll get paid full days for your travel in and out.
- FIFO from Brisbane, Townville, or Cairns to Mt isa
- 8:6 roster - mostly day shift with some night shifts where needed
- Work on a range of heavy earthmoving equipment
The role
Reporting to the field service coordinator and the site maintenance foreman you will enjoy working on site for with a large international mining principal in N.QLD. Duties will include;-
- Labour hire - work on other brands of equipment, workshop and field where directed
- Fully equipped modern field service ute
- Flights paid
- Accomdation provided
Your value
You will have come from a trade qualified background and have strong experience working on underground hard rock mining equipment.
- Ideally come from recent years working in UG hard rock mining, primarily on underground Boggers, Trucks and Drills
- Breakdowns and first response problem solving skills
- Strong drill rig knowledge (highly regarded)
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent attitude towards work and safety
