CoreStaff have a valued client located in the Launceston area seeking candidates to fill a farm hand role.
About the Job
In this role you will be supporting the farming team with the care and upkeep of chickens. We are looking for people who are available to work day shift 38 hours per week and available for night watch with collections and call out response to maintain feed, water and temperature systems. This role is fix ongoing with the potential of full time with our client.
Daily Tasks:

• Ensure all livestock is treated humanely, and in compliance with our client’s Minimum Standard Procedures
• Processing and inspecting chicken safely and systematically, according to quality specification
• Completing manual handling duties
• Being an active, respectful team member that is reliable and honours work commitments
• Storing and maintaining materials, equipment, and tools
• Identifying and escalating Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards, and risks
• Commitment, reliability, and motivation

No experience is required for this role as on the job training is provided to successful candidates.
Any offer of employment will be subject to a full medical including a urine, drug & alcohol screen.
