The Opportunity: As a Mine Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate recording of excavations, services, and spatial data to support the ongoing operation of the mine. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to compliance with regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide spatial control to execute engineering designs accurately.
- Maintain surveying systems, ensuring data is captured, adjusted, stored, and presented according to industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Conduct routine spatial management measurements (weekly, EOM, and as required).
- Deliver timely and precise survey data to operations to facilitate efficient mine development.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a strong safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering, drilling, and geology teams to provide essential spatial data.
- Qualifications: Advanced Diploma or Degree in Surveying.
- Experience: 1-2+ years in a similar underground mining environment.
- Software Knowledge: Experience using Deswik and/or Surpac software.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Leica total station, CMS, and CALS.
- Additional Skills: Drone pilot certification (preferred but not essential).
