Based in North Plympton South Australia, Tarmac SA is a wholesale manufacturing timber company.
We are currently seeking an in-store sales assistant that is enthusiastic, self-driven and highly passionate, service focused individual.
The successful applicant will deliver excellent customer service, develop strong relationships with our customers and be focused on instore support for our sales team.
This is immediate start, full time position.
Responsibilities of this role will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Providing assistance and advice to customers on products and services
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and identify their needs
- Processing customer orders and supporting internal sales and production teams
- Manage enquiries, provide quotations, and follow ups
- Incoming and outgoing phone sales
Skills and Experience include:
- A can-do attitude
- Sales and or trade background is desirable
- Knowledge of timber and building supplies products
- Ability to identify and prioritise requirements
- Well-developed written and verbal skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to work within a team
- Excellent time management ability
- Problem solving skills and have the ability to think on your own two feet
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
- The ability to set and maintain procedures and workflows
- Sound understanding of WHS requirements
- Excellent computer skills
- Current drivers licence required
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical
Timber industry experience and product knowledge will be highly regarded.
