Purpose of the role: As the Regional Manager - South, you will lead a dynamic and diverse team of Area Sales Managers, working together to achieve the primary goal of business growth. This role is perfect for a visionary leader who is passionate about driving success through strategic and sustainable value propositions. You will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring that our business continues to thrive. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Create and execute sustainable strategies to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Customer Solutions: Understand customer expectations, provide solutions, and take necessary actions.
- Team Support: Support Area Sales Managers through cohesive communication and collaboration with other business units to drive growth.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Plan, lead, and mentor the team to achieve KPIs across finance, quality, safety, and customer service, ensuring accountability within each role.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop initiatives to enhance customer operations and improve both customer and business development outcomes.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Tertiary Qualifications: Relevant qualifications and proven experience in a similar role.
- Sales and Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated sales skills and the ability to engage with key stakeholders at various levels.
- Communication Skills: Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Management: Experience in managing teams and developing plans to enhance employee development and performance outcomes.
- Client Understanding: Ability to understand client expectations and translate them into deliverables for large, complex organizations.
- Business Metrics: Understanding of business performance metrics such as input, output, margin, operating profit, and market share, and their impact on business performance.
- Technical Sales Leadership: Experience in leading technical sales teams and delivering performance outcomes from other industries is encouraged.
- Mobility: Current driver's license and the ability to travel.
