We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Hammond Park Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public School that caters for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school is located on the corner of Eucalyptus Drive and Murrumbidgee Road in Hammond Park, south of Perth in the City of Cockburn. Our school motto 'Learning Together Every Day' symbolises our commitment towards our school community and each other. Our teachers are collaborative, reflective and guided by research. They engage children in 'action based' programs that are differentiated for the needs of the learner. They foster creative and critical thinkers who are problem solvers and resilient learners.

The Role

As a cleaner you will be responsible for internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other items of general cleaning. In addition, you will also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, removal of cobwebs and other general cleaning duties. During vacation times, you will also undertake the stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, window cleaning, shampooing of carpets, pressure cleaning of verandas and undercover areas.
