We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive person to join us as the Collections Manager. The position of Collections Manager will work closely with the Registrar to oversee database maintenance, records management, basic art preparation, and conducting stock-takes and valuations for audit as required. The Collections Manager will work with a collections management system and ensure environmental controls are meeting specifications. Additionally, the Collections Manager coordinates the care, maintenance, and movement of objects alongside the Registrar and conservators. The Collections Manager is responsible for continued coordination of pest control, copyright permissions, and access to the Collections, as well as photographic image management.
The Collections Manager will be accountable for:
Overseeing database maintenance and records management
Conducting stock-takes and valuations for audit
Ensuring environmental controls meet specifications
Coordinating care, maintenance, and movement of objects
Managing pest control, copyright permissions, and access to the Collections
Handling photographic image management

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $100,512 to $112,622 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
