About the role
We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Claassen Mechanical service (CMS) in Rockingham.
This is a full time or casual
position for the right candidate, we are open to flexible options.
We work hard and fix s##t - real mechanics. If you want to learn from a couple of keen old boys who have many many years experiance in light and heavy vehicles and mobile equipment, come on down and see us.
We play hard -BBQ and freezer rotate.
We are offering the flexibility to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
As part of the team you will be working in a friendly can-do environment and be responsible for the repair and maintenance of both cars and light trucks, occasionally boat trailers, fork lifts, and generally some pretty interesting gear.
What you'll be doing
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as services and brake repairs.
- Troubleshooting complex problems and implementing effective solutions
- Maintaining detailed records of all work performed
- Collaborating with the wider team to ensure a smooth and efficient repair process
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Mechanic, with a focus on anything mechanical.
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in vehicle diagnostics and repair
- Familiarity with a range of tools and equipment used in the automotive industry
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality work = no comebacks.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and team members
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive mechanics
