The Opportunity
As a Principal Performance Analyst you will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing performance measurement assessment frameworks, the provision of reporting to Senior Management and the Corporate Executive in relation to the Department’s Capital program’s financial performance and in accordance with meeting Department’s legislative and corporate reporting requirements.
You will provide high level advice, support, and expertise on issues relating to measurement of performance, systems, and processes, and provide input into policy and planning in relation to performance analysis to support the Department’s decision making.
Your day to day may involve (including, but not limited to):
- Planning, developing and implementating the Department’s evaluation frameworks, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), systems and processes for Capital Works programs.
- Ensuring the Department’s financial performance is analysed, investigated and regularly reported to Senior Management and the Corporate Executive as well as in accordance with meeting Department’s legislative reporting requirements.
- Identifying the ongoing statistical needs and is responsible for the development of appropriate system performance measures and practices in line with the Department’s strategic plan.
- Preparing briefings and responses to Parliament, the Minister and other external stakeholders.
