Join Our Team as a Freight and Logistics Administrator!
Are you an experienced and talented Freight and Logistics Administrator looking for a new opportunity? Due to an internal promotion, we are excited to welcome a dedicated professional to our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This family-friendly role offers a Monday-to-Friday roster at our Kwinana facility.
About The Role
As our Freight and Logistics Administrator, you will be crucial in facilitating the administration relating to all transport and logistics activities.
Your responsibilities will include, reviewing expenditure, raising purchase orders, ensuring timely payment of invoices, and providing logistical, procedural, and coordination support to the Supervisor of Logistics. At times you may collaborate with our sales, procurement, operations, mechanical, finance, warehouse and logistics teams, while contributing to our health and safety management plan.

Duties And Responsibilities
Ensure all freight and logistics administration activities are coordinated, conducted safely and effectively with a genuine focus on duty of care, compliance, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with chain of responsibility legislation, taking reasonable steps to manage risk and ensure road safety is not compromised.Actively pursue and take proactive steps to ensure quality / expense control with all documentation, invoices, purchase orders, system receipts, and associated spreadsheets.Validate supplier invoices against logistical services provided and manage any account enquiries with vendors and internal stakeholders.Create purchase requisitions and receipting / SESing against respective delivery docks / tax invoices for an array of logistics activities and transactions.Helps administer end-of-month activities, including drone surveys of reagents, spodumene, TAS and Gyplime products.Assist in the coordination and facilitation of logistics, transportation, shipping, and warehouse activities. If required, help to generate transport and shipping documentation, including but not limited to Bills of Laden, MO41 dangerous goods declarations, Certificate of origin, Vehicle gross mass declarations, and packing lists.Provide logistical and freight support and guidance to all Internal and external customers and respond to requests in a timely solution focused manner.Draft policy and procedures in consultation with the wider warehouse and logistics teams. In consultation with the Logistics Supervisor, help provide facility management support concerning offsite warehouses.Liaise with finance / commercial teams, external property managers, and contractors as required to provide administrative / facilities support.Actively participate in the annual performance review process in line with HR expectations.
About You
Proven experience in administration essential. Excellent oral and written communication skills.Quality analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and the ability to systematically organise the administration activities.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP / Fiori, and or an aptitude to learn and adapt to new software and systems. Experience in logistics, international freight forwarding, export / imports, supply chain activities, facilities administration, or other associated activities - advantageous.
