Underground Electrician
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring equipment remains in top condition. You will proactively identify, manage, and communicate risks while contributing to a safe and high-performing work environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Electrical Trade Qualification
- Demonstratable experience in an underground coal mining
Underground Fitter
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will safely and efficiently operate and maintain underground mining equipment and heavy machinery, ensuring they meet required standards. You will also proactively manage risks and collaborate with team members to achieve safety and performance goals.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Demonstratable experience in an underground coal mining
The successful candidates will need:
- Relevant trade qualifications (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Valid Australian working rights
- Strong knowledge of risk management practices and workplace safety procedures
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Proactive and safety-conscious with a high level of self-motivation
