Resident Medical Officer (General)
Classification: PGY2 or above
Salary: as per Doctors In Training Enterprise Agreement – Medical Officers
Hours: 76 per fortnight
Status: Full Time (12 month contract)
Commencement Feb 2025

Rotations Include:
Medicine, including General Medicine, Cardiology, General Medicine and Stroke, Infectious Diseases, Rheumatology, Geriatric Services, Respiratory, Endocrinology, Palliative Care
Surgery (including Gastroenterology)
Emergency
Paediatrics
Mental Health
O&G
Anaesthetics
Education RMO
Unit Support (Relieving)
Working Conditions
Award conditions are 76 hours per
fortnight
Annual leave to be discussed with
Medical Workforce Unit for PGY2/3
and with specific departments for
PGY4s and above
Weekly PGY 2/3 Specific Education
including monthly simulation
sessions and/or workshops
Unit Specific Education
Supportive Medical Workforce Unit
and Medical Education Unit

Essential:
01.Current General or Provisional/Limited Registration or eligible for Provisional Registration with AHPRA - Competent Authority Pathway UK Doctors highly sought after.

02.Demonstrated appropriate level experience and skills in the medical assessment and clinical management of patients

03.Thorough understanding of the relevant legislation pertaining to Medical Officers

04.High level interpersonal and communication skills
