Description:

We are looking for experienced Chefs & Cooks for our clients based in Ayr, Townsville Queensland. The positions are full time, $65-$85K a year salary depending on the experience and the position.
In this hands on roles, the chosen candidates must:

• Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possible
• Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guidelines
• Ensure hygiene is maintained to the required standards
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after service
• Assist the head chef in cost control and assist in ensuring budgeted profit and targets are met
• Able to work unsupervised and harmoniously with the rest of the brigade

To be successful for this role you will possess the following:

• At least 1 year post qualification fulltime work experience in prep and a la carte essential (Lunch & Dinner)
• Hold appropriate trade qualifications
• Experience in fast paced, service and quality focused venues
• Guest orientated and passionate about food
• Sound knowledge of food hygiene practices
• The ability to work well under pressure with an eye for detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, relatively good English communication skills
• Possess a positive attitude and work well as a part of the team
