About the Role
This is Casual position within the Laboratory Services - Pathology Collection team. You will be responsible for providing collection service for both inpatients and outpatients at both The Royal Women's and the Royal Children's Hospital. This service also provides a collection service for VCGS and other external Medical practitioners.
Classification for this position will range from IN24- IN27 (base salary $62,540.40 to $71,141.20 per annum, plus superannuation)
What you'll achieve:
- Develop and maintina a high standard of Pathology collection sevice and customer sevice - respecting the wishes of child, parent and caregiver.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of departmental policies and procedures and Hospital Policy and Procedures
- Provide a safe and comfortable environment for staff, patients and carers.
Your skills and experience
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection
- Previous 3 years' experience in Public or Private Pathology Collection desirable but not essential

- Valid Working with Children Check
