Applications are sought from suitably qualified Registered Nurses to take the next step in expanding their career as a Clinical Nurse Consultant in the High Dependency Unit at Echuca Regional Health.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support all wards as the critical care liaison nurse, attending MET Calls, Code Blues, and assessing deteriorating patients.
  • Facilitate staff meetings, participate in performance reviews, and assist in recruitment and workforce planning for HDU.
  • Deputise for the NUM, participate in leadership meetings, and manage data collation for ANZICS and Medical M&M meetings
  • Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested
  • Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice.

Qualifications/experience required:

  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Post Graduate Qualifications in Critical Care Nursing
  • 5+ years’ post graduate critical care nursing experience
