About the role
We are seeking a Kinder Teacher to join our dedicated team at our family owned and opearted Early Learning Centre in Ferntree Gully. This part-time role will involve delivering engaging and nurturing educational programs for our young learners aged 3-5 years old.
What you'll be doing
- Planning and delivering stimulating and age-appropriate educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Observing and assessing children's development and progress, and adapting teaching methods accordingly
- Fostering a warm, inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Building positive relationships with children and their families
- Collaborating with the wider early learning team to ensure consistency and continuity of care
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required
- Actively participating in professional development opportunities
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with children and families
- Creative, patient and nurturing approach to supporting young learners
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Current VIT and First Aid certification
