About the Role: As the Head of Chief Customer Office, Strategy & Business Performance, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic advice and support to our CCO and senior leadership team. You will ensure strategic alignment, oversee program execution, and act as a key advisor in decision-making to navigate through risk and uncertainty. The role is complex and involves a broad range of responsibilities, ensuring productive relationships with stakeholders and supporting the delivery of the CCO office. This role is integral to fostering collaboration across senior leadership, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring seamless development and communication of our business strategy.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide executive support to the CCO in managing agendas, the CM program of work and strategic alignment within the organisation.
- Act as a strategic and trusted advisor to the CCO and senior leadership, supporting decision-making and representing the CCO in various meetings and forums.
- Enhance collaboration and information sharing among cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless project tracking and execution.
- Exercise strategic thinking, including the ability to anticipate challenges and propose proactive solutions to ensure the effective implementation of executive decisions.
- Inspire and guide the strategic planning function, driving strategic alignment through effective internal and external communication.
- Develop and initiate strategies, priorities, and initiatives that respond to current issues, customer expectations, and legislative requirements.
- Facilitate regular business reviews, ensuring leaders deliver on their commitments to achieving strategic objectives and vision.
- Demonstrate the highest level of discretion, flexibility, confidentiality, excellent judgement, self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
About You What you’ll bring to the table:
- Strong leadership experience in corporate or operational areas, in energy or services based industry.
- Able to understand and add value to a leader’s vision and strategic objectives
- Demonstrated organisational and political intelligence, with strong market knowledge
- Significant experience in senior management roles with a proven track record for delivering high-quality outcomes at both strategic and service delivery levels;
- Strong ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills with the ability to anticipate and avert problems.
- Experience in managing relationships with external stakeholders and senior internal stakeholders at Executive and Board level.
- Experience with impactful communication to internal and external stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, legal, or related discipline.
